Joshua Kessler

He uses big words like
"essentially" and "potentially"
all in the same sentence.
He's in love with coffe, meat,
and a good quality bottle of wine.
(he prefers red to white)
He loves his wife by attacking
the monstorous pile of dirty dishes
(steph hates them) and plunkering
down the stairs to the cave of a basement
to grab the laundery.
Joshua's eyes are windows to much.
Truth, widsom, sadness, regret.
A quiet humility of the new man he's
become. And still is becoming.
Laughter and warmth walk beside him.
He's somewhat of a grown-up
even though he farts and burps in
front of company.
He always leaves the seat up
but he sure knows how to preach,
pay bills, sell on Amazon, and
plan a detailed pilgramage to Greece.
He's always quick to say
"You're more than welcome to"
and "We would LOVE to do that with you".
Just very gifted at making one
feel well taken care of.
If something passions him,
his eyes take up his face
and his hands rub together like he's
attempting to build a fire.
We see this a lot when he's referring
to his wife, the Word, or going out to eat.
So dlighted to have Joshua Kessler
such a huge part of our
lives and honored
to call him
brother.
