~Oreo Chocolate Truffles~

These little bad boys are SO good-I only know this because whenever I make a huge batch, I hide some in the freezer and my husband somehow always manages to find them and scarf them down! He loves them and they're a huge favorite in our house!
I love to make them as gifts for neighbors or the clan at work..I pretend like I'm a fancy chocoltier and for a few hours, my kitchen is a candy shoppe..Enjoy them one morsel at a time!!

you'll need:

one bag of Oreo cookies
1 8oz package of cream cheese
1 small bag of semi sweet chocolate chips

Crush the Oreo cookies in a food processor or your good old fashion hands until cookies are crumblike in consistency..Mix well with the cream cheese till the two ingredients are thoroughly married..Shape into balls (about 1") and place on a baking sheet. Refrigerate for about an hour.
Melt chocolate chips in double broiler (I add a little oil to bring smooth and shine to chocolate) and coat Oreo balls in the chocolate until the little guy is completely blanketed. Repeat with rest of balls.
Pop in fridge again, so chocolate can harden and you will have yourself some dandy Oreo chocolate truffles! Enjoy!
