a honeycomb named marguerite.

Pleasant words are a
honeycomb,
Sweet to the soul
and healing to the bones.
-Proverbs 16.24

My heart was so uplifted by this letter. My spirit has been weak and discouraged and sometimes I feel lost and worthless and I have to swim to the surface to breath His new life in me. I just wanted to share because it truly meant so much to me and the Lord clearly used this friend's words to uplift and strengthen me.

"I love your blog. I just wanted to tell you that...I know i am not the greatest commenter but I really resonate a lot with what you say and am encouraged and sharpened by it. I also enjoy your recipes and there are a few I have been planning to try lately (power balls, the recent dip, the pancit...). Here are other things that have stood out to me -

-In your list of goals and dreams I love that you put in "not be fearful or intimidated of people" twice - that is totally me and something I was pondering in church today and as I found myself thinking, "why does no one reach out to me"...but it is so silly because I need to reach out to them and not be afraid they will think I am stupid or silly or don't say the right things (because I totally don't).

-I liked your post about sex too, I tried to comment on that one but not sure if it actually worked. Great thoughts.

-Glad your vacation was awesome and glad someone came and breastfed the baby, that is so great. Cool to see all the ways the Lord blessed you and your children while you were away.

Anyway, just thinking about those things today and how I have felt that your words (whether posts on facebook or your blog) have been seasoned with the Lord's goodness and grace."
