sweet nothin'

My mother in law gave me this recipe how to. I don't know anything about sweets, except how to eat them. (duh.) Funny thing is, this sweet frozen treat has none of the ingredients you would expect to find in a dairy-ishious sweet treat. In fact, it's dairy free by choice! (meaning, you absolutely can make this delicious delectable using no dairy whatsoever, but i chose to in this instance to help the smoothing process) Funny ingredients, but tastes exactly like rich, fattening, chocolate peanut butter ice cream!! Next time I make it (which I will-thank you MOM English for this idea! I now probably will get fat off it) I will make my friend Nikki's black bean brownies, and I will officially get my gold card to Granola Nut Moms Incorporated. here, try it!!

you'll need:
2 frozen bananas, peeled, sliced or chunked
2 tablespoons cocoa powder, unsweetened
1/4 cup peanut butter

optional**a splash of milk/almond milk/coconut milk (you get the picture) i used 2%

I used a blender, but my mother in law used a Cuisinart (I guess we both can tell you they both whip up fine) and dropped banana pieces, peanut butter, and cocoa powder in. I used pulse mode and pushed mix on and off to get it going. I added a splash of milk to help smooth things a bit and not leave the blade dry and it helped tremendously. Mix until desired consistency, thick, creamy, and textured.
Spoon out with spatula and enjoy with your tongue or a spoon.

oh, another optional* I dusted mine with Starbucks Hot Cocoa powder for the pretty factor;)
