1. I have a cold, but I am thankful my stomach is not sick or that i am not puking.
2. the snow falls so quietly and slows everything down. thankful that the heat is cranked and that we can afford it this year.
3. nathan came home with a hot apple chai infusion for me and it warmed my insides, soothed my tack studded throat, and it was a grande, so there was room to share with the littles..
4. thankful for peace between all friends at this moment in time. How I cherish peace.
5. i spent hours on my home yesterday, cleaning it deep, from the inside out. Mainly I focused on my bedroom and I am thankful for true rest in there now. order brings so much rest.
6. Because my house was fairly clean already, I did not feel as pressured to get a ton done today. Played with the kids and read Cinderella to Ben. thankful for my little boy cuddled in my lap.
7. Nikki brought me over some extra milk she had on hand and was so generous to share with me. one whole gallon and a tiny pint. vitamin d, extra rich.
8. thankful that Jesus is still working in me. He hasn't given up on me and I am always surprised. He is such a good and faithful God, so patient and abounding in Love.
9. thankful for the forgiveness of my husband. it is quick and does not hold a grudge. he accepts my apologies with joy and moves quickly forward. that is no small thing.
10. thankful for this renewed spirit of thankfulness. it has awakened a new joy in me and uplifted my spirit so.

Rach, I've begun the Joy Project! Looking (and not having to look very hard) for all the small and large things I can fill my heart with thankfulness for! It really has brought me a newfound joy.
Yes Jana. A great book. I started my own list awhile ago too and daily find large and small things that turn my heart back to God and remind me how much he loves me and cares for me. I love that it is often really simple things too...a daughter that ate her lunch without complaining, or a quiet house for a few minutes in the afternoon, or quality time with Justin. All things are good gifts from our God.
