Kahlua Pie

my cousin's wife gave me this delicious recipe because I tasted at a Christmas party and fell in love immediately.  We ended up on the plush leather couches with her rockin' a babe, and me asking eagerly for the recipe. It tasted so wonderful and decadent, rich, and full of chocolatey liquor-ish flavor.

With it being so rich, I would suggest serving it with a pile of berries or fresh fruit to counteract the sweetness, however, it is more than strong enough to stand alone on its own:) that's just the way I like it.

Also, my husband loved it frozen, because it does take a bit of chilling time to turn into an actual cut piece. Either way, frozen or chilled, you will enjoy it, i am sure..

you'll need:

6oz [3/4 cup] chocolate chips [i use semi sweet] 1/4 cup granulated sugar 1/2 cup warm water 3 egg yolks 2 Tb Kahlua 1 8oz package of heavy whipping cream, whipped graham cracker crust
Put chocolate chips in the blender.
Heat water and sugar in small bowl to dissolve sugar.
Pour sweet water over chocolate chips and mix (water should melt chips).
Add egg yolks and mix.
Add Kahlua and mix.
Have whipping cream whipped in a large bowl [i used my kitchen aide which worked beautifully along with the whisk attachment] and fold in chocolate mixture from blender.
Pour into crust and refrigerate until set.
slice and serve with fresh berries. [but totally optional.]
