Ooh boy, these are good. i picked a recipe from ohsweetbasil.com and found this amazing step by step instruction in how to make these amazing peanut butter chocolate chip m&m cookie, or as i like to call them, monster cookies. I think Cookie Monster would beam with happiness if he tried these cookies. They are the perfect blend of soft and goey, packed with delicious morsels, and they are wonderfully sweet. Our family loved them. i am so glad i found this recipe! I will share it here, but i just wanted to make sure you were aware that this is not a recipe i came up with myself. I only added peanut butter chips, but that's it. I am not a skilled baker, so people like me need recipes like this that are easy to follow, a manageable amount of ingredients, and yield incredible results for even a fumbly baker like myself. here it is! you'll need:
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter, i used JIF
1/2 cup butter [i used less than that because i didn't have the full stick, and it was no problem
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon whole milk
1 egg
3/4 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/4 cup flour 1/2 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup mini m&m's
1/4 cup peanut butter chips
method:
heat oven to 350 degrees.
in a large bowl, mix the sugars, peanut butter, egg, milk and vanilla. mix until smooth.
in a smaller bowl, mix dry ingredients with a whisk.
add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix till all is incorporated.
gently stir in all the morsels.
roll into balls and place on baking sheet covered in foil.
bake for 9-11 minutes.
barely let cool then eat.
