11. long talks with my Nathan snuggled beneath the sheets, breath intermingled, an occasional squeeze, legs intertwined. he listens, my heart speaks. i listen, his wisdom shared.
12. after 7 shots yesterday, my daughter was beat today. needy for her mom. so much so that as i was trying to sit on the bathroom seat, she held her tiny arms up to me and gave me those big brown eyes, so yes, I held her tight in my lap as i took care of business.
13. we did a makeshift clothing exchange last night at girls nite. thankful that one girl's used up goods is another girl's shopping spree.
14. two wedding deposits have come in this week, the Lord is providing just enough, and if the third deposit comes in, we may have the opportunity to travel to California. (still praying)
15. the smell of cinnamon wafting from the oven. it means something gooey and sweet is patiently waiting to be eaten.
16. thankful that no matter who comes and goes, who befriends me or defriends me, Jesus is the same forever and always. His love is sure and trustworthy, He never has left me or forsaken me, and His anger is gentle and convicts me to change, not sit in hurt.
17. texts from my sister.
18. how clean I feel after a good long hot shower, complete with a shave and scrubbed hair.

Thanks, Shains. We would love to go on that trip, but we'll have to wait on the Lord to provide. And yes, miss you and would love to find you soon. Maybe a coffee date at Rowsters? I will also try and get the recipe up soon.
