they're in love and i like it.
so much.
he pursued her for days.
for weeks.
his eyes, his heart, his soul
had dove head first
without the slightest look back
she wouldn't say yes,
not yet,
not till permission and peace was fully given
by her heavenly Father,
rightfully so.
ever so slowly, ever so gently,
he found his way
swimming in her sea,
the storm, the waves, so wild and free,
and she did not mind that he
had swam far past the shore.
She is a jewel that shines
oh, so fierce, so brilliant.
i love her so.
this sister, this friend.
she is the shape of a beating heart
it is hard to see anything else
the way she thrives, her staccato beats.
she is alive and well,
the Father dwells in her,
works through her.
mightily.
and him.
what joy has been found in his soul
now that he has found
the one
who has awakened him
from deep slumber.
his eyes sparkle
more than
the collected moments i have know him,
my heart rejoices for
my brother.
The Lord moves,
walks among them
His presence is made known
praise Him
for this wonderful
love story
still being written as I watch
and write..
thank you, sweet Jesus,
for not taking away my brother,
but for giving me
a sister
as
well.
