81. safe flights. quiet and content children. kind and helpful airline personell.
82. tiny puddly jumper airplanes that fly low enough for you to still see the earth below.
the sight of the coast, the big body of blue water, the tiny houses and tops of trees is a gift to be able to witness at a bird's eye view.
83. a raise in temprature. a hot car interior. air conditioner. windows down and clean fresh air to caress my face.
84. peace and graciousness of my gentle husband. His quiet control and ability to lead our family across the country blesses me and I am thankful for his calm spirit in the unknown.
85. the time that other passengers took to let us know our children did an amazing job and they didn't even realize they were there. the generous woman who paid extra for an aisle seat, giving it up so that our family could sit together.
86. the gift to see the familiar face of Dad English, after a long day of travel, he greets us with big hugs and quickly gets to work assisting us with our luggage. vacation began right then and there.
87. a stop at In N' Out. bites into juicy grass fed burgers, homemade fries without the added salt, and the blessing of all paper products bearing scripture. these establishments are few and far in between.
88. quiet, yet accurate observations of dad. in the car, he casually mentions what a good mother I am, the children have a healthy attatchement to me, and in his counselor voice he added that I don't need my kids to like me, he's not looking to encourage, just observe and make statements, and I'm in the back seat, speechless and thankful for this affirmation.
89. that sunshine. Oh, that glorious California sunshine. I am aware at this tremendous gift. The weather has been speaking my language, and the sun sings my song. It kisses my back, my face, my shoulders, and I am so thankful.
90. the simplicity of a fresh lime wedge in water. refreshing, and encourages me to stick with my healthy lifestyle, and not spiral out of control, just because I am on vacation.
