i heard a booming cheery voice 
call from behind me, 
as i was loading my 
children into the car after church.
The kindness of that 
one small interaction
was enough for me to glow in the 
ember of it for the rest of 
the day. 

take the time to acknowledge someone. 
say hello. 
take a moment to look someone in 
the eye. 
smile. 
it may go a lot further than 
you
